Led Projects strengthens its role as official lighting technology partner of the Open Menorca

The Spanish company cements its presence on the professional tennis circuit as the official lighting provider of the only ATP tournament on clay in the Balearic Islands.
Led Projects and BioSport Menorca have confirmed the renewal of their sponsorship and technology partnership ahead of the 2026 edition of the Open Menorca ATP Challenger 100, which will take place from 29 March to 5 April at Club Tenis Ciutadella.

A new generation lighting system for centre court
The Spanish company, a specialist in high-performance lighting, continues as official technology partner of the tournament, reinforcing both its position in the professional tennis world and its involvement in top-level sporting events.
The renewed agreement includes a significant upgrade: the installation of a brand-new LED lighting system on centre court, marking an important step forward for the event.
This bespoke system features 32 300W LED floodlights with asymmetric optics, specifically designed by Led Projects for racket sports. It delivers uniform lighting with no glare or dark spots, meeting ATP Challenger standards and complying with the UNE-EN 12193 lighting regulations, thus enabling matches to be played and broadcast in the evening with excellent visual quality.
“The timing of the centre court renovation made it the ideal moment to upgrade the lighting to ATP standards, allowing us to host and broadcast evening matches while ensuring optimal visual comfort and consistency for everyone involved,” said Toni Capó, General Director of BioSport Menorca, the tournament’s organiser.
Juan Antonio Pérez Gómez, CEO of Led Projects, added:
“It’s not just about lighting a court — it’s about bringing the expertise we’ve built over years of lighting professional padel events and applying it to the world of tennis. Being part of the Open Menorca gives us the chance to do that in an ATP environment that places real value on technical quality and performance.”
A strong and growing presence in elite sport
This renewed collaboration strengthens Led Projects’ position as a leading name in high-performance sports lighting, expanding its footprint from padel — with over 6,500 courts illuminated worldwide — into new challenges on the ATP Challenger circuit.
The Open Menorca ATP Challenger 100, organised by BioSport Menorca, has firmly established itself as a key fixture in the professional tennis calendar in the Balearic Islands. The ongoing partnership with Led Projects reinforces the tournament’s technical credentials and reflects its unwavering commitment to organisational excellence.
