The Balearic healthcare group will provide medical coverage for the tournament organised by BioSport Menorca, taking place from 29 March to 5 April at Club Tenis Ciutadella

The II Open Menorca ATP Challenger 100 will count on Juaneda Hospitales as its Official Medical Partner, following an agreement reached with BioSport Menorca, the promoter and organiser of the tournament. The healthcare group will be responsible for the event’s medical coverage, further strengthening the organisational structure of a tournament that continues to establish itself within the international ATP Challenger Tour calendar.
The Open Menorca ATP Challenger 100, which will hold its second edition from 29 March to 5 April 2026 at Club Tenis Ciutadella, will benefit from the medical support of Juaneda Hospitales, which will serve as the tournament’s official medical provider.
The agreement further consolidates the presence of the Balearic healthcare group in professional sport and strengthens the medical infrastructure of the event, which is part of the ATP Challenger Tour, the circuit that serves as the pathway to the ATP Tour and Grand Slam tournaments.
As part of the partnership, Juaneda Hospital Ciutadella will act as the tournament’s reference medical centre, providing healthcare assistance to players, coaching teams and staff involved in the competition. The group’s strong presence across the Balearic Islands ensures a medical response aligned with the standards required for international ATP-level events.
Medical support for an international sporting event
The partnership between Juaneda Hospitales and the Open Menorca ATP Challenger 100 further strengthens the tournament’s position within the island’s sporting calendar, consolidating it as one of the most significant international competitions held in Menorca.
It will also position the group’s healthcare centres as a medical reference point for players, teams, families and visitors travelling to the island for the tournament, while reinforcing the event’s integration within the local environment.
José Luis Bosch, Director of Juaneda Hospitales in Menorca, commented: “Taking on the medical responsibility for the Open Menorca ATP Challenger 100 represents a professional challenge and a strong commitment to elite sport, while also helping to project Menorca internationally. Our centres will serve as the tournament’s medical reference, providing confidence and security.”
Meanwhile, Rodrigo Martín Velayos, CEO of Juaneda Hospitales, added: “We are proud to be part of the Open Menorca ATP Challenger 100 as Official Medical Partner, continuing to advance our commitment to professional sport and medical excellence.”
From the tournament organisation, Toni Capó, Managing Director of BioSport Menorca, highlighted the strategic importance of the agreement: “Having Juaneda Hospitales as the tournament’s Official Medical Service strengthens the organisational structure and ensures top-level medical coverage. It is a key element in meeting the requirements of an international competition and providing reassurance for players and teams.”
Sport and health: a strategic partnership
The collaboration forms part of Juaneda Hospitales’ broader strategy of supporting professional sport as a platform to promote healthy lifestyles, prevention and medical excellence. The healthcare group already serves as official medical partner for organisations and events such as Real Club Deportivo Mallorca, the Challenge Ciclista Mallorca and the Balearic Federation Women’s Golf Tournament.
The II Open Menorca ATP Challenger 100, organised by BioSport Menorca, continues to expand its network of strategic partners while strengthening its organisational structure with the support of key stakeholders from the medical, business and sporting sectors.
The partnership between Juaneda Hospitales and the tournament also reinforces Menorca’s position as a host destination for international sporting events, contributing to the development of a competition model that combines organisational excellence, territorial impact and international visibility.
